Seven Hong Kong policemen have been sentenced to two years in jail each for beating a protester during the 2014 Occupy Central rallies. The sentences were announced last week as opposing groups gathered to protest and support the verdict. What were the reasons behind the sentencing? What impact will it have on Hong Kong society?
