Three gubernatorial election losers among them Kirinyaga's Martha Karua, Garissa's Nadhif Jamah and Turkana's John Munyes have  filed  petitions in their respective counties challenging the election of the incumbent governors bringing  the  total the number of gubernatorial petitions filed at the High Court to seven.Elsewhere, former Speaker of the National Assembly and Garissa township candidate Farah Maalim also filed his petition at the Milimani High Court challenging National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale's win.The deadline for filing petition is Friday this week.
