Deforestation has been the biggest factor in the increase of climate change. Mr. Varun Hemachandran has taken a step to prevent deforestation by founding "Talking Earth", an initiative to decrease the effects of climate change. Even after being a former successful Advertising, marketing specialist, and a serial entrepreneur, he decided to play his part in protecting the nature by establishing Talking Earth. Mr. Varun Hemachandran talks about his invention and other steps that he has taken to stop the government from spreading misinformation about deforestation in Bangalore, India in this talk. He explains how humans are more prone to lose their livelihoods than most of the plants or animals.Varun Hemachandran is a former Advertising and Marketing Specialist, and a Serial Entrepreneur. He is currently into his third venture “Talking Earth” that is dedicated to ensure that every country works towards growing it’s green cover to be at least 50% of its landmass. He was the co-founder of Marengo Communications, an integrated marketing firm and Evola Experience Labs, a start-up dedicated to nurturing high performance in the workplace.This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
