My most successful Triangle set ups http://www.chewjitsu.net/chad-I actually started using this Modification because I would rack myself all the time haha I did it a few times and realized that I had struck gold. By cupping the elbow I made it so one I didn't get racked and two he can't turn his arm as well.By cupping the elbow for the armbar it also give you a little more time to pinch your knees if you would like to switch after.I usually hit this armbar off of a Guard pass or from the full guard. Most grapplers know the basic armbar setup. This give you another option to use. Also from the guard it is a little sneakier. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
