Tuesday, June 13th, a US diplomat was summoned by Bangladesh’s foreign ministry to discuss the arrest of Bangladesh’s deputy consul general. He was arrested for committing labor trafficking and assault in New York City. Mahbub Uz Zaman made a short public statement.
