Description recent graduate of Princeton, Kitchener shows us the world as her generation sees it. Following her own experiences and those of four of her female classmates in their first year out of school, Kitchener, who writes for The Atlantic and The Guardian, looks at the options available to young women with brand-new college degrees and traces how these particular individuals make choices and find their way. Kitchener’s first book is both a sharp sociological profile of the millennial generation and a set of vivid portraits of five specific—and quite different—members of one socio-economic sector of that larger group.Founded by Carla Cohen and Barbara Meade in 1984, Politics and Prose Bookstore is Washington, D.C.'s premier independent bookstore and cultural hub, a gathering place for people interested in reading and discussing books. Politics and Prose offers superior service, unusual book choices, and a haven for book lovers in the store and online. Visit them on the web at by Tom Warren
