Legislation has been filed by Democrats and Republicans are calling for hearings into bump stocks and other mods to semi-automatic guns that could make them fire in a more rapid manner. Would this ban make sense? Maybe, but many people already own these mods and haven't killed anyone. Would Democrats be satisfied with this ban? Certainly not. In fact you would have many who say it doesn't go far enough and the AR-15 itself should be banned.
