Banyana Banyana legend and care-taker coach, Desiree Ellis, will remain part of the team's set-up and might be appointed as assistant coach when the South African Football Association announces the head coach of the senior women's team. When Banyana Banyana won the COSAFA Women's Championship in Zimbabwe on Sunday, it was expected that the association would appoint Ellis on a permanent basis.
