Two Supreme Court Judges Jackton Ojwang and Njoki Ndung’u found no reason to nullify the 2017 presidential elections. The judges while giving their full dissenting judgments’ on the presidential petition argued that the decision by the majority to annul the presidential election was based on narrow interpretation of the law. The judges in their detailed opinion found that National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga failed to present material evidence to the standard required to disturb the results returned to the national tallying centre by the presiding officers in forms 34A. Ben Chumba reports.
