Soft Drink Manufacturers in East African Region have warned partner states to halt the 15 percent tax increment on industrial white sugar used. This type of sugar is used in the Manufacture of Soda and other soft drinks. They claim the increment of import duty on white Sugar will force companies to increase prices of Soda to the final consumers.
