General Motors announced on Monday that it will layoff 1,100 employees in May at its Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. The company is shifting production of a vehicle to Tennessee. Last year, GM added 800 jobs to its Spring Hill, Tennessee plant for the assembly of the GMC Acadia SUV. The Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse will still be assembled at the Lansing plant. While the company announced in January that it would be investing $1 billion in U.S. factories, factory cuts continue to be made in recent months.http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/Reuters/d...http://www.wochit.comThis video was produced by YT Wochit Business using http://wochit.com
