'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' star James McAvoy may love being part of the X-Men franchise, but there's one thing he's not so fond of: shaving his head for the part. According to ScreenRant, the Scottish actor hasn’t always been bald during his tenure as Professor X, which began in 2011 in the hit X-Men prequel X-Men: First Class. Playing the younger version of the role, McAvoy kept his natural full head of hair in his first X-Men film. In X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014, some premature balding ensued. Now, following in the follicular footsteps of Patrick Stewart, who plays the senior version of Professor X, McAvoy is opting to go hair-free.
