A section of leaders from Narok County led by Narok north member of parliament Moitalel ole Kenta have vowed to block plans to allocate part of Mau forest trust land to some people. The leaders who included Narok ODM gubernatorial aspirant Musuni Ole Tiampati regretted that the county government had removed a caviet would spark unrest in the area. They observed that the rights of the local Maa community would be infringed if other people were settled on the land.
