Australian woodcutter Brad de Losa won a closely fought final in the Timbersports final in Hamburg on Saturday (May 20).Scores of fans were in attendance to see various loggers use all their strength to chop and cut through big blocks of wood.Eight competitors from all around the world took part in the event, with Canada's Stirling Hart making it to the final to face de Losa. The 39 year-old Australian won in a time of 1:02:23 minutes, chopping and sawing through four wood blocks just 0.48 seconds ahead of Hart,"Yeah, it's great. I think the Champions Trophy is such a hard race and so much training goes into preparing and getting yoruself ready for it it's always very satisfying to win. So, it's getting harder and harder - I'm getting older and these competitors are coming along very nicely. Stirling, I thought, was going to be very hard and he pushed me all the way in the final," said de Losa.
