The PM rejects claims that the Government had softened its stance on the role of the European Court of Justice after Brexit.The Supreme Court will be the ultimate arbiter of law in the UK after Brexit, Theresa May has said.The PM was speaking shortly before the Government published a paper that set out the Government's position on a new legal framework for Britain's future relationship with the EU.The paper said the "direct jurisdiction" of the European Court of Justice will stop when Britain's membership in the EU ends in March 2019.
