Description
The office of the Ombudsman has condemned the arbitrary sacking and suspension of county government employees saying the resultant anxiety has affected the smooth transition and paralyzed services in most counties. The commission's acting Chairperson Regina Mwatha says the actions are likely to expose counties to unnecessary litigation, with several county workers said to have been physically assaulted. The commission has written a formal letter to the Council of Governors asking them address the mater as soon as possible.
