http://www.nation.co.keNational Super Alliance (NASA) principals Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula have taken a swipe at Jubilee Party for failing to manage and calling off primaries in 21 counties.Speaking yesterday to journalists after the burial of former finance minister David Mwiraria, Mr Odinga said despite Jubilee members making fun of the opposition’s challenges, they had failed to pull a successful exercise. They were flanked by former Central Imenti MP Kirugi Mukindia, ODM Mt Kenya East region coordinator and a host of other leaders. He said the cancellation of Jubilee nominations was a result of the party’s inexperience in such exercises.“They were talking ill of ODM nominations because we had problems. But their words have returned to haunt them. Despite Mr Raphael Tuju chest thumping of how they had put systems in place and hired experts on nominations, they could not make it,” Mr Odinga said.He said Jubilee leaders did not organize primaries in 2013 hence this was their first attempt.“They thought it was a walk in the park. They should wait for more trouble before coming up with aspirants to contest in the next general elections,” he addedHe promised to fast track development in Meru if the Nasa won the elections in August.
