US magazine Forbes has released its annual list of the world's billionaires. And the exclusive club has grown larger than ever, thanks in part to a rising stock market following the US presidential election.A total of 2,043 people made the cut for 2017. That's an increase of more than 230 people from last year.Microsoft founder Bill Gates topped the list for the 4th straight year with a fortune of 86 billion dollars. He was followed by investor Warren Buffett with assets of more than 75 billion. And third place went to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, worth more than 72 billion dollars.Japan's SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son came in 34th with a net worth of over 21 billion dollars.Uniqlo owner Tadashi Yanai took 60th place with just shy of 16 billion dollars in assets. The stock market rally didn't seem to help US President Donald Trump's standing on the list.He dropped more than 200 places to 544th on falling real estate prices in New York. The magazine says he's now worth 3.5 billion dollars.
