In Samburu west constituency polling was marred by confusion after an aspirant stormed a polling station in Maralal town and demanded a stop to the exercise. Etes Amu who is seeking nomination to contest for Maralal ward claimed that his opponent Irene Leshore was collaborating with the returning officer to campaign and mobilize people in her favour. The MCA aspirant also accused his opponent of running campaigns near a polling station and threatened not to accept the election results.
