Sasha Pieterse Would "Never Say Never" To A 'Pretty Little Liars' Spin-OffThough fans may still be processing the Pretty Little Liars finale, they'll eventually have to accept the show is officially over — or is it? After a full-circle barn moment at the end of the episode, rumors about potential spin-offs are swirling. And when I get the chance to chat with one of the lead actors, Sasha Pieterse admits she'd do a Pretty Little Liars spin-off, if the opportunity presents itself. "I mean, I think that Rosewood will definitely live on forever, and I would never say never," she tells Bustle about the possibility. "Marlene [King] created such a special world and I don't think it would be a shock that she would ever do a spin-off. So it's kind of a wait and see kind of a thing."Of course, it's not a definite confirmation that anything's actually happening, but her optimism can at least provide some comfort. PLL wouldn't really be PLL without Alison DiLaurentis, after all. And because a concrete answer is necessary in this sort of situation (not just for my own peace of mind, but for the sake of curious PLL fans everywhere), I ask whether that means she'd join a spin-off. "I think so," Pieterse says. "We have such a good relationship and I love [King] so much. And anything she touches turns out beautifully, so, yeah, I wouldn't say no."Given how much Ali has changed since Season 1 of PLL, there's plenty story left to tell. Even the star herself is impressed with the character's growth. "It's so fun as an actress for me to kind of have that full arc," Pieterse says. "I think out of all the characters, Alison changed the most. And she really did come into her own and she became such a compassionate person, which is a side we never saw her have before.""Rosewood will definitely live on forever, and I would never say never."Plus, spoiler alert, Ali and Emily just got engaged in the finale, along with becoming the parents of twins. There are any number of directions their story could go. Even if a spin-off focused on the next generation of Liars (i.e. Addison and her crew), perhaps Ali could be the teacher in that very school. Maybe she'll finally be the one to put Addison in her place. Obviously, at this point, it's purely speculation, but it's fun to imagine nevertheless.Ultimately, if a spin-off does happen, it'd probably be a testament to fans' support — something that Pieterse values above all else. "I'm just so grateful for this whole ride. It's been so amazing, and most of it is the fans," she says. "They are so involved and they're so passionate, and it's one of the reasons that Rosewood will always live on."
