Authorities in Belgium say they have "neutralized" a potential suicide bomber after a failed suicide bombing attempt at Brussels' main train station.There were no other casualties in the incident.Ro Aram reports. Authorities say that soldiers shot the suspect, who is yet to be identified, after a failed bombing inside Brussels Central Station on Tuesday night, local time.Authorities say the situation is now under control and are treating the incident as a terrorist attack.Belgium Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the suspect is dead. There are differing reports about the explosion, some claiming that the suspect was wearing an explosive belt and others saying he set a bomb off from a wheeled suitcase after shouting "God is great" in Arabic. People inside and near the station have been evacuated and businesses and restaurants have also been ordered to close for the time being. Two other stations in the Belgian capital have been closed and soldiers along with bomb disposal units are at the scene. Prime Minister Charles Michel has maintained the national alert at its second highest level and will convene a National Security Council meeting on Wednesday morning to address the incident.He thanked security forces and railway staff for their professionalism and courage and for containing the situation within an hour.
