Togo's Cup of Nations qualifying campaign did not start like many would've wanted, but the fans are taking positives from Sunday's loss to Algeria. A handful of Togolese fans were in Blida over the weekend, where coach Claude le Roy fielded a young squad. Nine of the players earned their first national team caps. Despite the loss, many fans were excited at the prospects of building a strong team in the future.
