App users: View full article hereAtlanta Police said around 3 a.m. Thursday 14 cars from a CSX train derailed off the tracks, hitting a house on Andrew Street. Officials told FOX 5 five of the cars flew completely off the tracks and the others came partially off the tracks. Medics transported a man to the hospital. The man was sleeping inside the home when one car struck his bedroom, officers said. Atlanta police say that man is in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. Several roads surrounding the scene will be closed throughout the morning and possibly the entire day. IFrame%INLINE%Atlanta Fire and Rescue told FOX 5 it doesn't appear there were any hazardous materials on the train and most of the derailed cars were empty. The ones that had something inside contained dirt, sand and other materials.Officials expect major changes to traffic due to the derailment. Motorists are being urged to avoid Joseph E. Boone Boulevard by taking Donald Lee Hollowell and Martin Luther King Jr.
