In a statement, Donald Trump said that the gunman who opened fire at a GOP congressional baseball practice Wednesday morning has died from injuries sustained in a shootout with a police. According to authorities, the gunman has been identified as 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois. Hodgkinson, whopreviously ran a home-inspection business, was charged with battery and aiding damage to a motor vehicle a decade ago in his only previous brush with the law.
