Description
As the devastated city of Houston, and the surrounding areas, turn their attention to rebuilding following the widespread destruction of Tropical Storm Harvey, concerns have risen that President Donald Trump's crackdown on immigration may hamper reconstruction efforts. According to the Pew Research Center 28 percent of Texas's construction workforce consists of undocumented immigrants, while other studies have put the number as high as 50 percent.
