The United Nations says the number of Cholera cases in Yemen could increase by nearly 60 percent and exceed the 300,000 mark by September. According to the UN Children's Agency, over 1200 people have died since the Cholera outbreak started in April. The agency says children account for about half of the cases. Cholera is an infectious bacterial disease, typically contracted from infected food or water supplies. According to the UN World Food Program, Yemen also faces the prospect of famine, which threatens about two-thirds of the population. The WFP has described the situation in Yemen as the biggest humanitarian crisis currently happening in the world. The Saudi-led invasion of Yemen has plunged the country into a massive conflict that has taken the lives of over 12000 people over the past two years.Watch Live: http://www.presstv.com/live.html Twitter: http://twitter.com/PressTV LiveLeak: http://www.liveleak.com/c/PressTV Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/PRESSTV Google+: http://plus.google.com/+VideosPTV Instagram: http://instagram.com/presstvchannel Dailymotion: http://www.dailymotion.com/presstv
