Basic Income and Automation. Automation is about to turn the job market upside down. With 47% of all American jobs about to disappear over the next 20 years the work to live paradigm is about to break. The only question is are we going to fashion society so that we look forward to being replaced by machines or are we going to live in fear of being replaced by them. The time to act is now. By supporting a reduction in the standard work week to 20 hours and the implementation of a basic income that is at least 100% of the poverty level we can have a gentle soft transition to a less work era. This would lift everyone out of poverty and give more people access to the middle class lifestyle so many are striving for today but being denied access. Automation and job loss is going to happen.I'm Randy Stiefer. Life is short. Do what you love.
